ACT 196/2003
– PRIVACY POLICY AND AGREEMENT
Act 196 dated 2003, has the aim of ensuring that personal data
is treated in compliance with fundamental rights of freedom
and personal dignity, with particular reference to confidentiality
and personal identity.
The law establishes that individuals must be informed about
the aims and methods used to treat his or her personal data
and that the interested party must grant his or her permission
in writing.
